In other words, hardscapes are the non-living elements in your landscape design - the toughest components such as concrete, rocks, bricks, cobblestones, stone and wood. In addition to these natural elements, hardscaping also includes man-made structures like decks, pergolas or patio covers that are used to enhance your outdoor space.
